The adventure begins on four wheels, we will drive to one of the most beautiful places in the Sacred Valley of the Incas to the Ollantaytambo town, the called Inca Living town, here we will have a brief and a break to buy some food or snacks, we will drive up toward to Malaga pass(4300m) where our adventure starts by bike.

The down hill from the Malaga pass to the Huaman marca Village (land of the hawk) is approximately 3 hours in this town there is a small Inca altar, then we will have a snack and a short walking tour around the area with the explanation of our native Guide specialist in flora and fauna.

This down hill starts at 4000 m and ends at 1500 m, this means we'll start with a cold mountain climate and end in the flat Amazon jungle.

Then we will drive by car and toward to Santa Maria town (1130 meters) where we will spend the first night in a basic accommodation (clean and safe) and that even there are no large buildings in the area, a good way to know the place is a walk around the town or a soccer game with the citizens of the area.

Optionally we can make rafting on the Urubamba River, in that area we can practice this sport toward to Quillabamba town.

The sun and humidity of the jungle are determining factors for the physical performance of the people, so we get up early to start to walk and make more pleasant the way, another good reason is to avoid mosquitos.

The adventure takes us through the remains of the old city called "Santa Maria la Vieja" which was destroyed by the power of nature years ago, then we will walk inside of the tropical forests, where we will enjoy the fruits of the area and some stories of our Guide, as tradition dictates, we will make a ritual for entry into the forest as did the ancient Peruvians.

At noon we will arrive at the Qellomayo village, a place that is on the banks of the river of the same name, where we will have lunch and take a short break in the middle of the vegetation, optionally we can go to take a bath in the river.

Then we will go to Cocalmayo Hot Springs, in this place will have a break to relax and enjoy these place, then we will drive to Santa Teresa the town to have dinner and spend the second night in a housing.

This day we can rest a little more, and start walking later, our first break point is located 2 hours from Santa Teresa, the place is called "Hydroelectric" because in there is generated the electricity for the Cusco city, we will have a short lunch break too.

The day trip is approximately 8 kilometers, an average of 3 hours walking to the village of Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu town, optionally here we can go to take a relaxing bath in the hot springs.

Then we will have a delicious dinner and the directions of our guide to the activities of the long-awaited day in Machu Picchu. Rest is recommended because the next day we will get up to early.

The hosting of this day will be at a hotel in Aguas Calientes.

We started the day early (4:30 am or so) driving up by bus to Machu Picchu to see the mysterious sunrise.

This sunrise is listed as one of the most beautiful and impressive in the world, because the sun produces some spectacular phenomens in the Inca buildings of this temple dedicated to the Sun God or "Tayta Inti"
