A fascinating trip to the Manu National Park, is a unique experience where you can discover all the secrets of this amazing place, more than 20 000 species of plants investigated and many more that have not been investigated, 159 mammal species like the jaguar, considered a God in the Incas time, 14 species of monkeys, like a lion monkey, this is the world's smallest with 100 grams of weight, and we have 1000 species of birds and 1200 species of butterflies and many more adventures await us in this exciting journey.

ROADMAP

Day 1: Cusco - Pillcopata

Pick up from your hotel from 4:00 am

We start our adventure early, we will travel by car to the Atalaya port of, in the way we will observe scenic spots and full of culture like Ninamarca pre-Hispanic tombs until now are still visiting and appreciating, then we will get to Paucartambo city ​​regarded as the Folkloric Capital of Cusco (Cuzco). After 1 hour driving up we will arrived to the highest point of the trip called Acjanacu, 3580 meters above sea level where we will have a spectacular view to see a green mantle reaching to the horizon, this is the Peruvian jungle, we will arrived to Pillcopata at 6:00pm to spend the night in a local lodge.

Day 2: Pillcopata - Rain Forest - Atalaya - Manu Lodge

Begins at 8:00 am in the morning

We will travel by car 30 minutes to the Atalaya Port, in this place a boat takes us along the river Madre de Dios, where our lodge is located, here we will have lunch and explore this place full of life and where we will discover the wide variety of flora and fauna such as orchids, bromeliads and of immense trees that reach to cover the sun making us feel like a land of giants, we can also appreciate the feared piranha, black alligators optionally we can swim in the river safely.

In the afternoon we will return to the lodge to rest and diner, at night there are also some optional activities in the forest, such as observation of nocturnal species.

Day 3: Manu Lodge - Aguas Calientes - Matshiguenka Native Community

Begins at 4:00 a.m. in the morning

Early in the morning we will take the boat to go down by the Madre de Dios River to one of the most beauties and colorful places in the jungle where we can see the clay licks where Macaws scrape the clay wall with their beaks to eat this stuff that helps their digestive system so the importance of this land in their diet, noisy and colorful show lasts approximately 3 hours, after witnessing this show and have already taken our breakfast we will continue down by the Madre de Dios river to get to the native community of the MATSHIGUENKAS where we will share an evening of culture with them.

At night we will have dinner and a night walking to see nocturnal wildlife and hear the mysterious sounds of the jungle

Day 4: Matshiguenka Native Community - Pillcopata

Begins at 8:00 am in the morning

After our breakfast made with local products of the forest we will walk around the area where we can discover more of this magnificent forest, then we will take the boat to take us back to the Atalaya port where we will take our car to take us through the rainforest to our lodge in Pillcopata where we will have lunch and dinner in the last group but soon appreciate the courtship dance of the Cock rocks (Rupícola peruviana) and also at night walking through the village.

Day 5: Pillcopata - Cusco

Begins at 8 am in the morning

After our breakfast we will board our car to take us back to Cusco city (Cuzco)

End of Service.

Return approximately to the Cusco city (Cuzco) at 6:00 pm
