Manu Park 6D/5N Ecological Jungle Tours

The tour to Manu Park is one of the most interesting trips to do because we can see along the way impressive places and full of history as the graves of Nina Marka of the pre Inca period and Paucartambo considered the capital of the folklore of Cusco City (Cuzco) and from Acjanacu succeed in getting one of the most impressive and unforgettable views of the entire trip as we will observe the flat Amazonian from a altitud of 3500 meters above sea level that will give us a perspective on how big and vast that we hopes to explore in Manu Park, an undiscovered paradise.


DAY 1: Cusco - Paucartambo - Acjanacu - Pillcopata

Pick up from hotel at 4 am

We will go to the adventure that will take us to amazing places and scenic spots that will make our trip unique to one of the most impressive places in the world, on route to the Manu National Park, we will visit the pre-Hispanic tombs of Ninamarca, the average noon we will have arrived at Paucartambo folkloric capital of Cusco, after this visit we will continue on the path to Acjanacu mountain located at 3850 meters high from where we begin our descent into the jungle through the cloud forest to arrived to Pillcopata where we spend the first night and we will have a dinner party.

DAY 2: Pillcopata - Atalaya - Boca Manu Lodge

Wake up at 6 am in the morning

On the second day after breakfast we will drive for 45 minutes and we will to Atalaya where we will take our boat to head to our lodge which is located 45 minutes by boat through the majestic Alto Madre de Dios river, where we will visit a small lake very close and proper to observe the flora and fauna as the Hoatzin (Opisthocomus hoazin) this is a pre historic bird.

At night we will have dinner and then a night walk to listen to the sounds of the mysterious forest.

DAY 3: Boca Manu - Lodge

Wake up at 7:00 a.m.

After our breakfast we will travel 3 hours by motor boat on the Madre de Dios river until Blanquillo lodge (private reserve) in our lodge where we will have lunch at 1pm averaging but before we will take a tour around the reserve and appreciate the life a little more natural. By the afternoon we will make the tour of the lake of your booking a catamaran (boat without motor) which not to use a motor does not make any noise which is very suitable for our tour because we will make a bird watching activities, river otters, the black caiman, and returning in the afternoon we will have dinner and one hour later we can make a night walk to hear the mysterious jungle.

DAY 4: Lodge - Macaws Collpa - Camp Site

Wake up at 4:00 am

Before breakfast in the fourth day we will go by boat down in the River Madre de Dios until we reach our destination where we expect a unique event to see the macaw clay licks where these beautiful birds with their beaks scraped the walls of clay that serves your food to digest this happens every day making this a great show full of color.

Then return to the lodge for breakfast to continue our journey down the River Madre de Dios to the airport where we will continue toward Manu Park from a few hours to camp in one of the beaches of Rio Alto Madre de Dios.

DAY 5: Camp Site - Pillcopata

Wake up at 7:00 am

After breakfast we will take our little tour around the lodge, but before we will drive the boat and continue our journey through the Madre de Dios River until reaching Atalaya Port where we expect our car to take us to our accommodation in Pillcopata where we will take our last dinner with the whole group and this will be our last night in the jungle.

DAY 6: Pillcopata - Cusco

Wake up at 5:00 am

Before taking early breakfast we will go to the Pillcopata jungle where we will have the opportunity to see the national bird of Peru, the Cock of the rocks (rupicola peruviana) is a very strange bird that lives only in the cloud forests of Peru and Bolivia, where males perform dances to woo female wings, after all this spectacle of nature we are ready to return to the city of Cusco (Cuzco) where we will arrive at 5:00 pm
