ROADMAP

FIRST DAY

Pick up from your hotel from 7:00 am

To begin the adventure, we will travel approx. 1 hour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas to the Ollantaytambo town (the Inca Living town), since the structure of the Inca town was not modified by the current inhabitants, after a short break to buy some food or snacks, we will drive to the Malaga pass (4300m) where our adventure begins by bike.

The bike ride takes about 3 hours to reach the village of Huaman Marca also a small Inca altar, and then we will enjoy a snack and a short walk around the area with the explanation of our Native guide specialist in flora and fauna.

Then we will boarded our car and we will drive to the Santa Maria village (1130 meters) where we will have a welcome dinner and we will spend the first night in basic accommodation (clean and safe) and that even there are no large buildings in the area.

Optionally we can take a tour in the town, do some sport (soccer games) or tourism (rafting on the Urubamba River).

SECOND DAY

The sun and humidity of the jungle are determining factors for the physical performance of people, so we got up early to make the walk more enjoyable and avoid mosquitoes.

The adventure takes us through the old city called "Santa Maria la Vieja" which was destroyed by the power of nature years ago, then we will move to tropical forests, where we can enjoy the fruits of the area and some stories of our guide, as tradition dictates, we will do a ritual for entry into the forest.

We will arrived to Qellomayo village at noon, a place that is on the banks of the river of the same name, where we will have lunch and we will take a short break in the middle of the vegetation, optionally we can go take a bath in the river.

Then we will go to Cocalmayo Hot Springs where we will have time to relax, after that we will drive to Santa Teresa town (1811 m) to dinner and spend the second night.

THIRD DAY

This day we can rest a little more, and start walking later, our first break point is located 2 hours, the place called "Hydroelectric" because there is generated the electricity for the city of Cusco, in this place have lunch and take a short break.

The route day is about 8 kilometers, an average of 3 hours walking to the village of Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu village, where we can go to optionally to take a relaxing bath in the hot springs of that place.

After that we will have a delicious dinner and the brief of our guide to the activities of the long-awaited day in Machu Picchu. Rest is recommended for early fourth day activities.
